GEM launches Genesys Pro S 

multimedia workstation

 

Rounding off its Genesys series of digital multimedia workstations, Generalmusic launched the Genesys Pro S at Musikmesse 2005, Frankfurt. The Genesys Pro S features a 61 note keyboard with velocity sensitivity and aftertouch. It offers a sound database comprising of 128MB internal memory (64MB internal sounds, 32MB new sounds, 32MB user samples), a storage capacity of 20GB on harddisk, and an integrated CD burner. Using the 'Make CD' function, you can assemble and write audio files as well as make complete backups. The arranger section provides 256 factory styles / grooves, incorporating accompaniment styles from all over the world for authentic reproduction of many musical genres. It's slim profile and folding LCD display make the Genesys Pro S very portable.
